ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer of standards. Although ISO's principal activity is the development of technical standards, ISO standards also have important economic and social repercussions. ISO standards make a positive difference, not just to engineers and manufacturers for whom they solve basic problems in production and distribution, but to society as a whole. |

The AOCS was formed in 1909 by nine forward-thinking chemists. Over the next 90+ years, the AOCS has become the leading international forum for information exchange. More than 20 years ago, the AOCS Foundation was formed to actively raise money on behalf of the AOCS. The Foundation was charged with raising funds for specific initiatives, while receiving additional funds passively through the annual dues check-offs program. |

The Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations (FOSFA) was founded in 1971 on the amalgamation of four predecessor associations, the oldest of which dates back to 1863. Today the Federation represents over 700 members in 67 countries. FOSFA is a professional international contract issuing and arbitral body concerned exclusively with the world trade in oilseeds, oils, fats and edible groundnuts and is the major association of its kind in the field. |
